ESCOLA RECORDS

You've Got to Have Freedom

Vinyl artwork for Escola’s new EP, You’ve Got To Have Freedom, originally by Uptown Funk Empire, now reinterpreted by Greg Gauthier and Lucas Moinet.

With 300 copies pressed, every cover was handcrafted and is completely unique. An artwork representing creative freedom and expression.

Each of the 300 covers introduces a subtle rhythmic language that echoes the pulse of the music, celebrating individual expression and creative freedom, and tapping into the song’s core message: You’ve Got to Have Freedom.

The covers also nod to the label’s name, Escola (school) through the use of red dot stickers, embracing its childlike spirit and curiosity.

Big thanks to the team and friends who came to help stick 30,000 dots.
It was fun!
