Talking to the Unabomber

Podcast art for Apple+ “Project Unabom”

The story focuses on Ted Kaczynski, also known as the Unabomber, an American domestic terrorist who carried out a nationwide bombing campaign across the U.S. between 1978 and 1995. Living in an isolated cabin, Kaczynski wrote his anti-technology manifesto and built the bombs used in his attacks.

The cabin became a symbol of his infamy and is a central focus of the podcast's artwork, gaining widespread attention after his arrest.

Based on documented photographies of the original cabin, we built a 3D model and its surroundings in order to achieve a range of visual assets for the Podcasts’ communications.

The cabin was in the middle of the woods, south of Lincoln, Montana.
